Houston Airports authorities have begun work to remove debris from the damaged aircraft and restore airport operations. No injuries were reported in connection with the incident, and the Houston Fire Department has deemed both jets to be fire-safe.

Disruptions, including delays and cancellations, are almost certain to impact flights scheduled to depart from or arrive at HOU over the coming hours. Additionally, residual disruptions are possible once the airport resumes operations as airlines work to clear any passenger backlogs.
