France, Italy: Mont Blanc Tunnel to remain closed until Dec. 18.
Mont Blanc Tunnel between France and Italy remains closed for maintenance until Dec. 18. Delays at other regional crossings are possible.
The Mont Blanc Tunnel connecting Chamonix-Mont-Blanc, France, and Courmayeur, Italy, will remain closed for maintenance until Dec. 18. Road traffic is diverted to Frejus Tunnel, Petit Saint and Bernard Pass, as well as Swiss-French crossings Montets Pass and Grand-Saint-Bernard Tunnel.
Transport disruptions due to overflow traffic are possible on alternate crossing routes.
Allow additional time if traveling via an alternative crossing route. Strictly heed all instructions from authorities.
