Italy: Women's rights activists to hold protest march in Rome starting at 14:30 Nov. 25
Women's rights activists to march in central Rome, Italy, on Nov. 25. Increased security, disruptions likely.
Women's rights activists plan to hold a protest march in central Rome during the afternoon of Nov. 25 as a part of the Not One Less (Non Una Di Meno) movement. Participants will assemble at the Circus Maximus at 14:30 before marching to the Piazza San Giovanni. The planned march route will transit the Capena Gate (Porta Capena) and follow Via di San Gregorio, Via Labicana, Viale Manzoni, and Via Emanuele Filiberto to its end destination. The event will likely draw very large crowds of attendees.
Authorities will almost certainly monitor the protest march as a precaution. Moreover, road closures and/or detours will be in force on several thoroughfares along or near the march route. Associated public transport disruptions will also probably occur in the surrounding area.
Avoid the protest march as a standard precaution. Depart the area at the first sign of any security disturbance. Confirm road status in advance if operating in or near the impacted areas. Heed all official transport and security advisories.
