Lingering flight disruptions are ongoing at Wellington International Airport (WLG) in Wellington as of Nov. 22 following the cancellation of more than 100 flights due to heavy fog the previous day. Despite improved weather conditions, airlines, including Air New Zealand (NZ), are facing additional flight delays and cancellations at WLG as they work to clear passenger backlogs. WLG authorities have indicated that it may take one to two days for airlines to fully clear backlogs.
