Activists affiliated with the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and Trade Union Congress of Nigeria (TUC) plan to stage an indefinite nationwide strike starting at 00:01 Nov. 14. The purpose of the labor action is to denounce the alleged beating of NLC President Joe Ajaero and others by security forces on Nov. 1, among other issues.
