Protesters plan to gather in central Montevideo, Uruguay, from 18:00 Nov. 13. Localized disruptions likely.
Activists affiliated with the Interunion Plenary of Workers-National Convention of Workers (Plenario Intersindical de Trabajadores–Convencion Nacional de Trabajadores, PIT-CNT) will gather in Montevideo to demonstrate against corruption on Nov. 13. Participants will gather from 18:00 at Plaza Libertad in central Montevideo.
The demonstration will likely result in transport disruptions in downtown Montevideo. Heightened security is likely in the area. Skirmishes between demonstrators and the police cannot be ruled out.
