Authorities rescind tsunami advisory for coastal areas of multiple countries in Pacific Rim as of early Dec. 3. Excercise normal caution.

Authorities at the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center have rescinded an earlier tsunami advisory for coastal areas of multiple countries in the Pacific Rim as of early Dec. 3 following a 7.6-magnitude offshore earthquake off the coast of Mindanao, Philippines, late Dec. 2.

While the tsunami warning has been rescinded, authorities have advised that normal caution should be taken near coast areas, and small sea level fluctuations may occur in some coastal regions near the epicenter.

If in coastal areas of impacted countries and territories be prepared to move to higher ground. Heed the directives of authorities.
