Police are investigating a shooting incident that occurred in the Hovsjo neighborhood of Sodertalje at about 19:00 Dec. 9. At least three people were injured in the incident; there have been no reports of fatalities. Police have as yet released no official statement concerning the suspects or possible motives. Sodertalje is located about 26 km (16 miles) southwest of Stockholm.
Heightened security in the area is likely through at least the end of Dec. 10. Localized disruptions are possible due to the police response.
Strictly heed instructions from authorities, and avoid the area until police give the all-clear.
