Lingering disruptions to transport and business are likely in the Al-Baladiyat neighborhood of Baghdad after a fire broke out at the local Al-Massa Mall, near the Public Security intersection, Jan. 20. Authorities have deployed to the scene, rescuing an unspecified number of people. The blaze, which was reportedly caused by a fuel tank catching fire, has burned several shops and vehicles. The fire has emitted thick, black smoke into the air.
