SA Citizens plan to demonstrate in central Pretoria (Tshwane), South Africa, from 09:30-12:30. Gathering near Department of Home Affairs.
The Tshwane Metro Police Department has stated that supporters of SA Citizens will march in Pretoria (Tshwane) from 09:30 Jan. 19. The gathering is in response to immigration policy. Participants will gather at Church Square before marching to the Department of Home Affairs via Paul Kruger Street and Johannes Ramokgoase Street. Officials have indicated that Madiba and Thabo Sehueme streets will also be affected. The gathering is due to end at 12:30.
Security officials will deploy to monitor the gathering and manage traffic. Increased congestion on nearby roads is likely. Clashes are unlikely.
