Colombia: Motorcyclists protesting in Bucaramanga Feb. 12

Groups of motorcyclists have launched protests throughout Bucaramanga on Feb. 12 to oppose local traffic regulations that have been imposed recently by officials. Protesters plan to gather in several locations across the city, including at the intersection of Calle 45 and Carrera 9, as well as at the intersection of Carrera 33 and Calle 63. Protesters will also be gathering in the vicinity of Puerta del Sol and Meson de los Bucaros. Activists will likely continue to block main streets and do slow-drive demonstrations, complicating ground transport operations in the city.
