Explosion in Jadra, Lebanon, Feb. 10. Suspected Israeli drone strike. Several casualties reported.
An explosion near a vehicle in Jadra, located 10 km (6 miles) north of Sidon and 60 km (37 miles) north of the Israel-Lebanon border, left at least two people dead and one other injured, Feb. 10. The cause of the blast is unclear. Some sources have alleged that an Israeli drone conducted a targeted strike on the vehicle. The identity of the casualties is unclear.
Heightened security is likely in the area in the coming hours. Officials could close roads to facilitate the emergency response. Further violence is possible.
