The latest Israeli strike comes amid the ongoing cross-border violence between the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and Hizballah militants. A rocket launched from Lebanon struck the Israeli town of Safed Feb. 14, killing one IDF soldier and wounding at least eight others. The IDF's retaliatory strikes killed at least seven civilians and three Hizballah militants in southern Lebanon.
