As of early Feb. 17, increased security is highly likely in Ciudad Guzman, Jalisco State, following armed clashes between armed civilians and security personnel overnight Feb. 16-17. According to reports, trucks were used to erect blockades, while the armed civilians and security personnel clashed on the 429 highway on the southwestern outskirts of the city.
