Utility provider Manila Water has announced that water disruptions will occur in parts of Quezon and San Juan cities in Metro Manila, and parts of Rizal Province 22:00 Feb. 15-04:00 Feb. 16 due to service improvement activity. Officials advised residents of affected areas to fill up containers and ensure that water heaters are disconnected during the maintenance period.
Business disruptions are possible during water outages, especially for companies that rely on large quantities of municipal water for their operations.
Stock up on drinking water and confirm alternative water supplies for business operations. Use only bottled water from reputable suppliers for drinking and hygienic purposes. Pressure and water quality may be poor after service resumes; run taps for several minutes before using water. Minimize nonessential water use throughout the outage.
