Unionized healthcare workers are protesting at the Ministry of Health and Ministry of Labour and Social Justice in central Bucharest on Feb. 22. Participants are demanding better salary conditions. The protest started on Cristian Popisteanu Street and will continue on Dementru Dobrescu Street until 15:00. Organizers estimate that 300 participants are attending.
Localized road travel disruptions are likely. Authorities could deploy increased security to monitor the gatherings. Violence is not expected.
