Two French nationals killed, three others injured in a drone attack in Beryslav, Kherson Region, Ukraine, Feb. 1.
Officials in Ukraine and France have confirmed that two French aid workers were killed and three other foreign volunteers wounded in a drone strike in Beryslav around 16:00 Feb. 1. Kherson Region, where Beryslav is located, is a frequent target of drone and artillery strikes from the Russian Armed Forces; it is, therefore, likely that the workers were not specifically targeted.
Avoid travel to active conflict zones in the Donetsk, Kharkiv, Kherson, Luhansk, and Zaporizhzhia regions of Ukraine; consider leaving these areas by available ground transport if safe to do so.
