Informational

Political activists affiliated with the Cesko Proti Bide association and the Law, Respect, Expertise (Pravo, Respekt, Odbornost) Party plan to protest at Wenceslas Square (Vaclavske Namesti) in Prague from 14:00 March 23. The purpose of the demonstration is to denounce the current governing cabinet. It is unclear how many participants may attend; however, several thousand attendees participated in related demonstrations on March 11 and April 16 2024, and Sept. 16, 2023.

Heightened security and localized transport disruptions are likely near the protest site. Confrontations between demonstrators and law enforcement officers cannot be ruled out.

Avoid the area near the protest site as a standard precaution. Allow additional time if traveling near Wenceslas Square. Strictly heed all instructions from law enforcement officers. Immediately depart the area at the first sign that any security disturbance may occur.
