Unionized police officers plan to protest in central Bucharest from 11:00 March 25. Members of the European Police Union (EUROPOL) and the National Union of Penitentiary Policemen (SNPP) will gather at the Interior Ministry to demand increased and retrospective pay, and improved catering. Organizers predict that around 4,000 people will take part.

Heightened security and localized transport disruptions are possible in the immediate vicinity of the protest. The demonstration will likely be peaceful.
