Several homes and businesses were damaged or destroyed after a suspected tornado struck parts of Winchester, Indiana. No fatalities have been confirmed but authorities have reported several people suffered significant injuries. Temporary shelters have been established for residents whose homes have been damaged by the storm. Authorities in Selma, Indiana, have reported that up to half the buildings in the town have suffered damage from the severe weather. Damage has also been reported in parts of Mercer County, Ohio. Tens of thousands of customers were left without power due to the severe weather; power has been restored in many areas, however, as of early March 15, more than 15,000 people across Darke, Delaware, and Logan counties in Ohio and around 5,000 across Delaware and Randolph counties in Indiana remain without power.
