As of March 20, officials in Rochester, New York maintain a boil water advisory for parts of the city after the dead body of a person was found in the Highland Park Reservoir. Because of the discovery, the reservoir is being drained and cleaned, and multiple samples from the distribution system have been collected and are being tested.
The areas affected by the boil water advisory are mostly west of the Genesee River, and include the following areas:

Linden Street to Mount Hope Avenue
Mount Hope Avenue to McLean Street
McLean Street to Genesee River
Poor water quality could impact businesses and organizations that rely on public water. Some schools have been closed March 20.
