Nigeria: Government suspends Dana Air operations April 24 due to safety concerns

Nigerian officials order Dana Air to suspend operations April 24 due to safety concerns. Reconfirm flight itineraries.

Warning

Nigerian officials ordered Dana Air (9J) to suspend all operations on April 24 due to safety concerns. The order comes after a Dana Air plane slid off a runway at Murtala Muhammad International Airport (LOS) in Lagos on April 23. Dana Air's Air Operator Certificate (AOC) is suspended while a safety and financial audit is conducted. It is unclear how long the audits will take.

Contact Dana Air directly if impacted by the suspension. Rebook on alternative airlines as soon as possible.
