Emergency crews are continuing their response to a large structure fire at a warehouse near the 10 block of Jiron Ancash in the Cercado de Lima district of Lima as of late April 24. The fire had initially broken out in the afternoon of April 23, triggering a large firefighting operation, but reignited at approximately 19:30 April 24. A large number of firefighting units are currently at the scene to battle the blaze. The initial cause of the fire is unclear. There are no confirmed reports of casualties, though crews have rescued several people.

Significant transport and business disruptions are likely in the area through at least the morning of April 25 due to the large emergency response and the risk of additional structures catching fire. Evacuations of nearby buildings are possible.
