Environmental activists to protest in multiple cities across Peru, April 20.

Arequipa: Gathering at Plaza de Armas from 16:00
Cusco: Gathering in Plaza Tupac Amaru at 15:00
Lima: Protesters will gather in Plaza San Martin at 16:00
Trujillo: Participants will gather at Plaza el Recreo from 16:00.
Elsewhere, activists are likely to gather in popular protest areas such as city centers, plazas and near government offices. Heightened security is likely near all events. Violence is unlikely. Disruptions to road travel are likely near protest sites, particularly if participants march to and from planned gathering areas before or after the scheduled start of events.
Exercise caution near all protest sites. Vacate the area at the first sign of confrontation. Plan for ground travel delays near protest sites.
