South Africa: Authorities plan to close part of N3 highway for planned demolition project in Durban, April 10

The South African National Roads Agency (SANRAL) has announced it will close part of the N3 highway near Durban 14:30-15:00 April 10. The planned closure is to facilitate a controlled demolition project near the highway. The N3 will be closed in both directions between the M13 and Peacevale interchanges; the closure period is subject to change at short notice.

Disruptions are likely to affect the nearby M13; they may linger in the hours following the closure. Localized transport disruptions and freight delays from increased congestion are likely for the duration of the closure.
