Authorities to close part of N3 highway ahead of roadworks in Durban, South Africa, 20:00 April 6-04:00 April 7.

Informational

The South African National Roads Agency (SANRAL) has announced it will close part of the N3 near Durban from 20:00 April 6 to 04:00 April 7. The planned closure is to facilitate roadworks on the highway. The N3 will be closed in the westbound direction between the Sherwood and EB Cloete interchanges; the closure period is subject to change at short notice.

Disruptions are likely to affect the nearby N2 and M10. Localized transport disruptions and freight delays from increased congestion are likely for the duration of the closure.

Plan for delays if transiting along the N2, N3, and M10 highways in the Durban area during the affected period. Heed the instructions of officials.
