South Africa: Unionized airport cargo workers of Durban Airport striking indefinitely as of April 24

Unionized members of the National Education, Health, and Allied Workers’ Union (NEHAWU) have gone on an indefinite strike at Durban's King Shaka International Airport (DUR) as of April 24. They are engaged in a wage dispute with Dube TradePort, the airport's cargo complex operator. The Congress of South African Trade Unions (COSATU), the country's largest union, has offered its support. As of April 24, a localized protest is ongoing; no disruptions to commercial flights have been reported.
