Police responding after two shot in Norrebro, Copenhagen, Denmark, May 23. Heightened security, transport disruptions reported.
Authorities are responding after a shooting in the Norrebro neighborhood of Copenhagen as of afternoon May 23. Two individuals were reportedly shot; authorities cannot confirm the severity of these individuals' injuries. Large numbers of emergency responders were reported at the intersection of Bispeengbuen and Hillerodgade and the intersection of Lundtoftegade and Tikobgade. Traffic is blocked in the area. Heavy police presence was also reported at Righospitalet on Blegdamsvej, where the two victims were reportedly receiving treatment. As of the afternoon, authorities had not arrested any suspects.
