Unknown assailants stormed Gora, Jambuzu, and Madomawa Zamfara State late on May 10. Authorities report that at least 105 individuals were kidnapped but noted that that number may increase.

Security forces will likely conduct operations to apprehend the attackers and rescue the abductees, potentially establishing roadblocks and checkpoints, as well as searching vehicles and pedestrians. Armed clashes between suspects and security forces cannot be ruled out.
