The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a tornado warning for parts of western West Virginia and southeastern Ohio May 26. The warning is in effect until at least 16:30 and covers southern Mason County, northeastern Cabell County, and northwestern Putnam County, West Virginia, as well as southeastern Lawrence County, Ohio.

The weather warning could be extended or expanded on short notice.
