Disruptions due to flooding are ongoing across parts of Bamyan Province as of June 28. Heavy rainfall June 26 triggered flash flooding in the region, with the worst affected areas in parts of Yakawlang District. Authorities have reported at least nine fatalities, and 10 others are missing as of June 28. Around 30 homes were destroyed, and several roads, areas of agricultural land, and other infrastructure were damaged by the floods. Response operations are ongoing, and lingering disruptions are likely in flood-affected areas over the coming days
