As of early June 6, emergency personnel is responding to a collision between a RegjioJet passenger train and a freight train that occurred in Pardubice around 22:45. Reports indicate that the RegjioJet train, carrying around 300 passengers, was traveling from Prague to Chop, Ukraine when the trains collided at the Pardubice Centrum stop. Authorities reported at least four passengers were killed, and several were injured. Officials have reportedly suspended rail traffic on the impacted line.
