India: Increased security likely in Pathankot and Gurdaspur Districts, Punjab State, at least through late June

Punjab police will likely maintain increased security across the Pathankot and Gurdaspur districts until late June. This is due to reports of the presence of two militants June 25 in the border village of Kot Bhattian. The suspects allegedly were spotted moving towards Kot Pannu village in the Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir.
