Emergency crews are continuing to respond to a large fire at the Platan Research Institute (Nauchno-Issledovatelsky Institut Platan) on Zavodskoy Proyezd in Fryazino on June 24 where at least eight individuals have died. At least 72 firefighters and 24 emergency response vehicles are operating at the site of the fire. The cause of the fire remains unclear. Authorities are likely to provide updates in the coming hours.
