Crews are working to contain a wildfire burning on the outskirts of Scottsdale, Arizona, as of the afternoon of June 29. The Boulder View Fire broke out near the Boulder Heights community in North Scottsdale on the afternoon of June 27 and is approximately 1,512 hectares (3,736 acres) in size and zero percent contained. More than 240 personnel are on-site battling the blaze. Authorities have not provided an estimated containment date for the fire; hot, windy, and dry conditions may hamper firefighting efforts over the coming days. Additional wildfire growth is likely.

Evacuations and Closures
