A drone reportedly targeted the Population Mobilization Forces' (PMF's) headquarters in Uwairaj, Babil Governorate, late July 18. There have been no immediate reports of casualties or significant material damage. The strike comes a few days after two drones targeted the Ayn Al-Assad Airbase (AAAB) in Al Anbar Governorate, July 16.
Increased security is likely in Babil and Baghdad over the coming hours. Travel and business disruptions are possible. Additional similar violence remains possible over the short term.
