Unionized workers to strike at airports in Bologna, Crotone, Lamezia Terme, Milan, Reggio Calabria, Rome, and Venice, Italy, July 5.
Unionized airport personnel plan to strike at numerous airports across Italy July 5. Planned actions will occur at:
Bologna Guglielmo Marconi Airport (BLQ): Ground staff to strike 13:00-17:00.
Crotone Sant'Anna Airport (CRV): Ground transport and airport operations staff to strike 00:01-23:59.
Lamazia Terme International Airport (SUF): Ground transport and airport operations staff to strike 00:01-23:59.
Leonardo da Vinci-Fiumicino Airport (FCO): Ground staff to strike 13:00-17:00.
Milan Linate Airport (LIN): Baggage handling staff to strike 13:00-17:00.
Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP): Baggage handling staff to strike 13:00-17:00.
Reggio Calabria Airport (REG): Ground transport and airport operations staff to strike 00:01-23:59.
Venice Marco Polo Airport (VCE): Security and ground handling staff to strike 13:00-17:00.
Air travel disruptions are likely at the listed airports during their strike times and may continue for several hours after work resumes.
