Israel: Flight disruptions likely at Ben Gurion International Airport in Tel Aviv through at least early August due to increasing regional tensions
Flight disruptions likely at Ben Gurion International Airport in Tel Aviv, Israel, through at least early August due to increasing tensions.
Flight disruptions are likely at Ben Gurion International Airport (TLV) through at least early August amid increasing regional tensions. US airlines, including Delta (DL) and United Airlines (UA), announced the suspension of all flights to Israel until at least Aug. 6. Additional airlines could announce similar measures. Reports indicate that some airlines, including Lufthansa (LH) and Austrian Airlines (OS), have been rerouting flights to avoid TLV for security reasons. While flights to Israel are still scheduled, further incidents of diverted flights could occur.
Lingering disruptions are likely after normal services resume as airlines work to clear passenger backlogs.
