Flight disruptions are likely at Ben Gurion International Airport (TLV) through at least late August amid increasing regional tensions. US airlines, including Delta (DL), announced the suspension of all flights to Israel until at least Aug. 31, while United Airlines (UA) announced an indefinite suspension. The Lufthansa Group, which includes Lufthansa (LH), Swiss Airlines (LX), Brussel Airlines (SN), Austrian Airlines (OS), and Eurowings (EW), has suspended its flights to TLV until Aug. 21. Italy's ITA Airways (AZ) has suspended flights to TLV until Aug. 15, while Air India (AI) canceled all flights to Israel until Oct. 27. Additional airlines could announce similar measures. Reports indicate that some airlines, including Singapore Airlines (SQ), Taiwan's EVA Air (BR), and China Airlines (CI), have rerouted flights to avoid Iranian, Israeli, and Lebanese airspace for security reasons.
