Italy: Train traffic slows after body of deceased individual discovered in vicinity of Roma Termini station in Rome Aug. 18

Major rail transport disruptions will likely affect Roma Termini station in Rome over the coming hours after the body of a deceased individual was discovered in the vicinity of the station on Aug. 18. Trenitalia has reported that train traffic has significantly slowed following the discovery as authorities have deployed to the scene and begun investigative work. Trenitalia has added that high-speed, intercity, and regional trains may experience increased travel times of up to 150 minutes and may be subject to cancellations, changes, or route restrictions.
