Flight disruptions are occurring at the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) in Phoenix, Arizona, as of the evening of Aug. 22 due to thunderstorms. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued a ground stop program for PHX that is slated to remain in effect until at least 20:30; flights have been delayed by an average of 105 minutes. The FAA may extend, modify, or rescind the ground delay program on short notice.
