Activists plan to stage demonstrations in Brisbane, Melbourne, and Sydney, Sept. 17-18, in solidarity with the Construction, Forestry and Maritime Employees Union (CFMEU) after the union was placed into administration. Organizers have confirmed the following protest plans:
Brisbane: Emma Miller Place 11:00 Sept. 17
Melbourne: Victorian Trades Hall, 11:00 Sept. 18
Sydney: Belmore Park, 11:00 Sept. 18
Previous related demonstrations drew thousands of participants.
