Unionized mineworkers plan to demonstrate in central Warsaw, from 11:00 Sept. 10. Workers from the Bogdanka coal mine and from the Kozienice and Połaniec power stations will gather at the Ministry of State Assets. Organizers will demand increased pay for the unions' members. It is possible that several thousand will take part.

Increased security and transport disruptions are likely in the vicinity of the protest site. The event is likely to pass off peacefully.
