The Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix 2024 will occur around the Marina Centre and Padang area in the Downtown Core Sept. 20-22. Related road closures will be in place 00.01 Sept. 18-05:30 Sept. 24 in the affected area. Officials advise people to use public transport if traveling to the impacted locations during this period. A ban on unmanned aircraft such as drones will be in effect during the event.

Authorities will open sections of some affected roads, including Esplanade Drive, Nicoll Highway, and Stamford Road, 05:30-10:00 Sept. 18-20 and 17:00-20:30 Sept. 23.

Operators have extended service hours for public transport Sept. 20-22, though most buses will take detours around the race sites. A heightened security presence is likely, and security checks are possible near race venues, train stations, and popular tourist sites in downtown Singapore during the event.

Allow additional time to reach locations in downtown Singapore through early Sept. 24. Confirm all reservations, as hotel and transport services will be in high demand. Heed all official directives.
