Authorities suspended MRT train services between Boon Lay and Queenstown stations on the East-West Line Sept. 25 due to a power fault that occurred in the morning. The disruptions began around 09:25 after a train returning to the Ulu Pandan depot caused a power trip, leading to another train stalling at Clementi Station. The Land Transport Authority (LTA) announced that services between the affected stations will remain suspended for at least the rest of the day. Authorities offer bridging bus services between the affected stations and advise commuters to use alternative transport.
