Germany: Activists to demonstrate and march in Ulm from 08:30 Oct. 5

Political activists to rally at Donauhalle Ulm arena and march through Ulm, Germany from 08:30 Oct. 5. Tight security, disruptions likely.

Warning

Activists affiliated with Ulm Alliance for Diversity and Democracy will rally and march in central Ulm beginning on Oct. 5 to protest against an Alternative for Germany (AfD) Conference that will occur in the city. Demonstrators plan to gather at the Donauhalle Ulm arena at 08:30 before marching through the city center at 11:00; the march will culminate with a final rally at the Weinhof from 12:00.

Increased security, transport, and business disruptions are likely during the rallies and march. While no counter-demonstrations have been announced, Afd supporters may conduct counter-protests, which may lead to clashes.

Avoid the rally sites as a standard precaution. Consider seeking alternative routes to circumvent the impacted area. Heed all instructions from local authorities.
