India: Opposition activists plan rally in Dehradun, Uttarakhand State, Oct. 24

The Uttarakhand Kranti Dal (UKD) political opposition group plans to hold a march from the Parade Ground to the Chief Minister's residence in Dehradun, Uttarakhand State, on Oct. 24. This is to demand greater autonomous rights for the Uttarakhand State. Although the exact timing of the event remains unclear, demonstrations typically occur from late morning to early afternoon. Participation will likely be in the low thousands.
