Portugal: Unionized public transport workers plan to strike in Porto, Oct. 7

Public transport workers affiliated with the Northern Road and Urban Transport Workers' Union (STRUN) employed by the Porto Public Transport Company (STCP) plan to strike and demonstrate in Porto on Oct. 7. The purpose of the strike is to demand increased wages and improved working conditions. Workers will hold demonstrations at the Via Norte collection station in the morning and at the STCP offices in Torre Das Antas at 14:30 Oct. 7.
