Unionized IT workers plan to hold a protest march in central Timisoara from 12:00-14:00 on Oct. 9. The purpose of the demonstration is to denounce alleged work-related mistreatment following the deaths of two IT workers in the city. Participants will gather at Victory Square (also known as Opera Square) at 12:00 and march through the surrounding area. It was not immediately clear what route organizers intended to take or how many people would participate in the march.
