Authorities are responding following an explosion and reported gunshots at the Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) headquarters on Havacilik Bulvari in Ankara as of mid-afternoon Oct. 23. Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya characterized the incident as a "terrorist attack" and asserts that deaths and injuries have occurred. Security, fire, and medical personnel are reportedly at the incident site.
